If the Trayvon Martin killing in Florida, the assassination attempt on former Democratic Rep. The whole article is an interesting read, shining light on how politicians fear the lobbying organizations clout and political frenzy they’ll stir up. Goes to show that adversity to fear is one of the core drivers in the human brain, sadly though it’s fear of looking bad/getting ousted from office, not fear of other people dying because of their negligence.
